Spring is in the air...

This week we have been thinking about the changes we have noticed as the seasons are changing.
Although Jack Frost doesn't want to say goodbye just yet, we are noticing that the birds are singing, there are plenty of daffodils waving in the breeze and the blossom is appearing in the trees.

We went on a Spring treasure hunt, looking for signs of spring and found lots of things to tick off our picture lists. Perhaps you can have a look for signs of spring when you are out and about too.

We have made observational drawings of the daffodils

We have matched baby animals to their  mothers and thinking about the things that grow in Spring time.
We have used the role play farm animals to think about baby and mummy animals
We have been singing Five Little Ducks and counting numbered ducks in the water tray.

We are learning to blend letters s, a, t, p, i, n to make words like pin, pan, pit and sip.

Next week, we will be thinking about Easter traditions and continuing to think about new life.
